Thin Lizzy’s Last Recorded Concert

Watch the last known video recording of Thin Lizzy, recorded live in Dublin, 1983.

Admittedly something I ordinarily listen to anyway but in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, sharing this felt timely. In this video we get the last known video recording of Irish rock group Thin Lizzy, fronted by Phil Lynott, one of the most underrated front men in rock, and an astounding bassist to go along with it. Thin Lizzy also holds the privilege of one of the few decent two electric guitar rock lineups, a move typically to counteract that no one guitarist was good enough; clearly not a problem here.

(Ed. Note – the music starts around the 3:15 mark)

This video, filmed appropriately in the band’s hometown of Dublin in 1983, features the lineup of Phil Lynott, Brian Downey, Brian Robertson, and Scott Gorham in the band’s last known live recording.
